I had the rare opportunity to send a message to one of my childhood heroes, Chiaki J. Konaka, the writer of Digimon Tamers, and Serial Experiments Lain. I knew he would stop using this account soon, and I knew I wouldn’t forgive myself if I didn’t ask him this question. I wanted a Digimon so bad as a kid(and still do, who doesn’t haha), I owe it to my childhood self to ask this question, she would be so mad if I didn’t.

And I was not disappointed. Bless you Konaka, you wrote a brilliant series, you made so many kids happy and gave us so many adventures, and now you’ve created an audio drama as a sequel to Tamers! You continue to give! Thank you so much for a lifetime of adventures!

I’m off to the Digiworld now, I’ll see you guys there. Make sure to bring snacks!
